How does he have this great reputation as a recruiter? He only coached here for a year and im not really sure who he was responsible for getting, but it just seems like not enough information to claim he is this superstar recruiter. He could be, but just wanted some info to back up these claims.

I think Hud gets most of this love is because people on here know him or know he is from MS. He won nat'champ at delta state. He won other places.
He seems to be a good coach ...we hired him 3 years ago as a wr coach though, he went to ULL and now people think he can recruit with the bamas and lsu ...I don't understand this.
and maybe some rebels want him because he didn't get along with mullen
