So Adidas did the same thing to Wisconsin and Nebraska....

but holy ****... Adidas needs to disband their design department and just start over. Its almost as if they designed two or three uniforms for the season and then tried to fit as many teams into them, with minor tweaks, as possible. Not to mention the designs themselves are terrible to begin with.

Our uniform and A&Ms have been nearly identical for years. So while i think addidas should have been mindful of them joining our conference and designed something different for each....I can almost understand ours compared to A&M.....almost. However, that N and W is ridiculous. What is the point of having two teams play with similar uniforms for one game? Does addidas think that is some cool design that will catch on? Regardless of the color similarities, it is a terrible design. Just terrible. I got a feeling thier days are numbered with universities outside Starkville, MS.

but equipment wise, they are way behind Nike and Adidas. Not that it really matters though. <div>

</div><div>1. Negotiate with adidas to make us one of their top tier schools.</div><div>2. Be a second tier school with Nike.</div>

Word on the street here has always been that the coaches hate the Under Armour equipment. Can't vouch for the truth of any of it. And that's mainly football. The 73 basketball fans here believe with probably some validity that it has a negative impact on basketball recruiting, and yes, they are aware that Auburn is traditionally a horrible basketball school no matter who the supplier is.

Revenue/year?

What's the cutoff for tier 1 vs tier 2. I'm not trying to be a smartass, I'm genuinely curious to your opinion.

Adidas pays them $7.5mil/yr as their flagship contract, about double any other uniform contract in CFB
http://blog.mlive.com/ann...ves_nike_for_adidas.html

A&M gets something like $2.8mil/yr total from Adidas, including about $1.6mil/yr in cash. They have plenty of incentive to stay with them.

On the other hand, we have one of the worst uniform contracts in all of CFB. DEFINITELY the worst in the SEC. We don't break even on ours. Got to come up with something new when this deal expires. OM's deal with Nike is worth 7x our deal with Adidas.
