You have blatantly criticized the hire. You have unsubstantially bashed Stricklin for the hire, when we have no idea how it will turn out. Why do you question Stricklin's hiring capabilities? Who has he hired that has been a flop? I understand questioning the hire, but there is a difference in questioning and getting pissed about it. Who did you think we would be able to get? I mean our program is in shambles, and I trust his decision making on who can turn it around over any poster on this board. He is the one who actually talked to the candidates. For you to lose faith in Stricklin over this is a bit premature. Im sure you don't actually "hate" the man himself. In a few years your thoughts may be validated, but when the hire was made you acted like a baby and showed spite towards both Ray and Stricklin. Thats where my hate comment came from.<div>
</div><div>And about Cohen, every comment you make now is talking about how bad he is. The expectations for this baseball team and for him are unrealistic. People are complaining because we are losing series to LSU, South Carolina, and Arkansas. Those are top 10 teams in the nation and we were in every single game except for 1 at Arkansas. At some point a player has got to perform to help win a game. I realize Cohen recruits players, but how can you expect Cohen to get the best players in the nation with our program standing at this point? We are close, level-headed sports fans can see that, but when Cohen acknowledges that you criticize him.</div><div>
</div><div>And if you are going to keep throwing out his overall record in the SEC and his record at Kentucky was so bad, why in the world were you a huge supporter of his? Maybe because records don't show the whole story? </div><div>
</div><div>
</div><div>ETA: We have been outscored by a total of 8 runs in SEC play this year. Sounds like we are alot more competitive than the Cohen bashers make it seem.</div>
