I don't know how he can state categorically that the recordings are "fake." I think he should have stopped after saying the tapes were not "authenticated."

Although the person receive the call could have been someone else named John, I guess. But if John Bond told Phil Abernathy that Cecil never left him a voice mail message, and if they are not aware of anyone else named John associated with MSU who might have received a message like that, then I think he is safe to say the recording is a fake.

a caller on Finebaum this week said that during Cams visit to state, while sitting at a table with other recruits and parents, Cecil flat out asked coaches for gift certificates (to where, I have no idea). The coaches told him and the other families that we cant do that...

Anyone else hear that Wednesday? According to my buddy Finebaum dismissed him and never brought it back up.
