Since you took your lumps on MSU's improbable stomping of Arkansas, you ready to do it on LSU football? Specifically the QB situation where you said several times that they would be good at QB THIS year.

I wouldn't worry to much about LSU's QB spot to much. They have some damn good ones coming in this year

and Lee underachieved, but their defense was the bigger problem. They will be just fine at QB as you saw in the bowl game, and they have a 5 star coming in along with possibly the nation's number 1 recruiting class.

Despite losing their #1 QB in the offseason and losing both their #2 and #3 QBs during the season, LSU somehow still managed to score over 30 points per game and finish 6th in the league in both passing yardage and passing efficiency. LSU's defense was their #1 problem, and that will improve under Chavis.

Yep, Lee's pick 6's didn't help, but if LSU received the type of defensive performances that they've been accustomed to recently, they'd probably have been a 10 win team. The LSU D was definitely an issue. It showed up to play in the bowl game, but for most of the year it was the weak link.

Seriously, I wonder how long it'll be before Garrett starts looking to transfer. I wasn't all that impressed with him based on the film I've seen, and I definitely don't think he'll be able to beat out Jefferson, Lee, and the other incoming recruits LSU has at QB. My guess is he'll be buried at 4th or 5th on the depth chart at best by his second season, and then he'll be looking around.

I agree. I wasn't that impressed with him even back when he was an MSU commitment.</p>
