I'm thinking he did. McCluster was held in check for the most part by The Dogs and had a great 4-5 game run, but Dixon was solid all season .

You have your best season as a collegiate athlete, break every single rushing record at a school. I definitely would think that all of these factors, plus his shear dominance all year, including the egg bowl, has to give him the nod over McCluster.

2. Did this against the hardest schedule in the nation.
3. DM had 2 FBS games.
4. Head to head in the Egg Bowl-Dixon + 48 yards.

Had McCluster done anything more yesterday, or if the Mighty Rebs had won the game, I'm pretty sure Cellular South would have loved to give that trophy to Dex, even though AD would still be leading the SEC.

Thank God we don't have to find out.
