Cam Newton was ringing one of my cowbells today at the game. He said he wanted one to ring, so we let him ring it... and he rang the **** out of it all game, while dancing. He was treated like royalty by fans (says a lot to him when so many people know him by name). If he doesn't commit, I'll be very surprised. Not to mention, we'll probably offer his WR buddy as a package deal, so that will make him happy, also.
that Newton came into the locker room after the game ringing a cowbell and celebrating with the team. He will be a bulldog next year along with James Carmon. BIG pickups today. Expect the official word by either tonight or tomorrow afternoon.
He may or may not have been asked after Broomfields return TD what he thought of all what was happening and his reply we "I'm going to be a part of it."
