So, does anyone have a sense of how

much it's going to cost us to get Sidney's father "on board." See 2HD's latest blog if you haven't already.

but Blue mentioned in chat last night we could put his dad on the bench like Calipari did for DeJuan Wagner and his dad.

If Memphis and Kansas - see Mario Chalmers' dad - aren't above it, I don't see why we should be.

Assuming he does sign, expect dad to be very involved in making his opinions known about how he should be used.

We hired Bubba Wilson's high school coach to be an assistant when Bubba signed with us.

What his Dad is doing is not anything bad. He has a son who can put the whole family in the in the rich category.

His son is also a hot commodity so he is trying to look at all options. Put yourself in his shoes then you will realize why the decision can be hard.

His dad is an AAU coach. Hire his ***!

his dad may be under the impression that people view his sons recruiting as done and he isn't ready to give up the position of being the shot caller yet. Get the papers to the kid and let him sign. The longer this takes the worse our chances get of landing him.</p>

but I do see Mr Ego sees his son as the "cash cow" in the family. I'm sure Stans has explained the way it is and I'm not so sure Mr Ego wants his "cash cow" not being the "guaranteed star" right off the bat.
I do like that Mr Ego's son wants to come to Msu, that says a lot right there.

Link? Im not even touching the issue of if they are struggling for money or not, i havent a clue.
But all ive ever seen is that Renardo SR WAS a consultant for Reebok and WAS gettin 20K a year for his services. Ive also read multiple times that he is no longer a consultant for them.

Ive read that Renardo SR does private workouts with other prospects for money and also runs and coaches his son's AAU team. Now he may get a balance from the AAU team's slush fund that Reebok provides, but none of us would know that.

I havent read anywhere that he is pulling 6figures from Reebok, and in fact all ive read is that he is no longer paid by them.
