Seems like Cox and Boyd got DT on lock. No way he is better than those 2 right now. Does he redshirt? Could Mullen dare redshirt the #1 DT in the nation?

No way he starts IF Fletcher comes back. He won't redshirt though...and we should have a SOLID 3-deep at the DT spot with Evans/James/Eulls/PJ Jones. We will be on LSU/Bama level in both skill and depth at DT. We just need some serious support at D-End...*cue Autry and Ward*

no way he redshirts. cox may go pro anyway, and if he doesn't, there's nothing wrong (in fact it's preferable) to have 5 or 6 DTs you can rotate to keep legs fresh.

won't red-shirt either. I've seen him play and he is strong enough now to play and contribute. If Cox returnsEvans still will provide some great depth and will push for time. Has anyone seen Nick James play? Is he going to be tough to keep off the field next year? With PJ Jones, Cherrington(sp?)and Virges along with Evans I wonder if we will haveenough time to spread around for James.

if Virges is switched to the o-line next year. PJ can also possibly play DE- kind of like Kaleb Eulls. We also have James Maiden in there as well.

I'm assuming he will play the 0 and 1 technique. A position we haven't played much of. Cherrington would get in there at times, but just as a space eater. Quay will add another dimension to our defense.

i think eulls earns a permanent spot at de. having those 2, virges and pj jones all being frosh and soph at dt would be amazing to go along with a soph in eulls at de. sherrillesque d-line. if our young o-line can develope in to quality players we could start looking very sherrillesque.
