and they keep saying others in the league are watching closely to make sure he is treated like everyone else.

Did I miss something? Didn't they decide to not bring charges? Didn't they never bring charges in the one where the crazy girl filed a civil suit?

why are they meeting? What would his punishment be based on---a civil complaint? I just can't really get my head around what the hell is going on with this.

them mention santonio holmes case, and this being somewhat of a race issue, and they expect some kind of suspension. The punishmnet based on just that he is supposed to be an elite represenative of the league.

Pac-Man and some others were suspended for things in which charges were dropped and none filed. Can't give specific names, but the homies want the cracker suspended

before he was ever suspended.

Plus, in this instance, you are making the leap, if you are Goodell, that he sexually assaulted her.

With Pac Man, he was always involved in scuffles or disturbances. Things that did in fact happen regardless of whether charges were pursued.

Just seems a little ridiculous.

Ben Roethlesberger never denied the incident in Georgia. And there doesn't have to be criminal activity for there to be wrongdoing.<div>

something tells me that won't happen.

Whether its criminal or not, wrong or not, what is goodell basing his decision on? I guess that's ultimately the question.

When the first woman came forward, he was like "What the +!%@? That never happened", but this time he kept his mouth shut about it.<div>
</div><div>Obviously I don't mean in legal terms, I mean in the Court of Public Opinion, which Goodell cares about just as much.</div>

Accused of sexual assault in a bathroom? That could mean anything and everything. Did he pull his dong out and tell her to suck it? Did he kiss her and she didn't like it? Did she take him in there as they were making out and then decided she didn't want to have sex with him? Did he just follow a random chick into the bathroom and grab her inappropriately and try to rape her?

Does he just like to party and gold diggers see this as a way to make their monies? This day and age, that sort of thing happens all too often, and only makes it harder for those who are actually assaulted/violated.

Was he ever arrested? If Goodell suspends him and he hasn't been arrested or anything like that, he's pretty much just giving power over who can play to the press and random people. Maybe I can pay enough people to cry wolf about something one of the best players on one of the teams I hate did, enough to get them suspended too. Just a thought...

he bought shots for a bunch of UNDERAGE girls, got one of them drunk, took her into the bathroom of a club, and hijinks insued. The reason for the suspension is the fact that he acted like a dubmass...I'd suspend his *** if he worked for me and tell him to grow the hell up.
