1) UF WILL be back (don't agree as much)
2) Barn will have a much much tougher time (agree)
3) Mississippi will be a "sleeper" (agree)
4) Vandy's new coach has metal business cards (don't care)
5) Covertly mentioned: a loss by UF to UT could sink Muschamp. (agree)
6) Nick Marshall home b/c he couldn't handle the media onslaught. (don't care)

Auburn should see some regression to the mean...you would think.

You just can't win that many one possession games every year.

They were almost Ohio State 2002 level. I think that tOSU team actually ended up 7-0 in one possession games, but Auburn was a smooth 6-1 with the one loss coming to FSU. Without that late Winston TD pass, Auburn would've been 7-0 in one possession games last year.

That tells you they were a team that probably was more like a 9-3 type team last year.

I have to wonder if in the long run this past season will hurt Malzahn by raising expectations to an unrealistic level.

The kick 6 and all that was great, but they weren't supposed to be that good that fast, and I don't think they were really that good. Especially in Alabama, where expectations are always in check**, I can imagine that the expectations for Malzahn in the near future are way out of whack now.

The douche nozzle from the Orlando Sentinel came on Finebaum just now and regergitated his spill about how the SEC should evict State and Ole Miss and let UCF in.

No one pays attention to that dipshit. Might as well add North Texas and Akron. Screw that guy.

UCF uses hand motions to spell out "U" "C" "F".

No school that uses hand motions should ever be allowed in the SEC.

Every time I see them I think of 1st Pres Day School cheerleaders...

His logic is ridiculous. Why don't we go ahead and get rid of a few more while we are at it. Why stop at State and Ole Miss. Let's get rid of Vandy, Kentucky, and Arkansas and add Ohio State, Texas and Southern Cal. Since it's all about the size of the school. What an idiot

If UCF is such a great addition for the SEC, why haven't the ACC, Big 10 or Big 12 even given them any consideration when they were adding schools like Syracuse, BC, West Virginia, Maryland, Rutgers, etc.

If AU gets the reverse pendulum swing from last season's good fortune....

They will go 6-5

As far as the SEC is concerned, the second best team in Mississippi is always considered a sleeper!.

Not to mention one simple problem: UF would be adamantly opposed. Add UCF at the risk of losing Florida?

I don't expect Auburn to get the full reverse pendulum swing, but I expect them to come back to the mean, which will probably mean 9-3 or 8-4.

After mingling with many UCF fans at the Liberty Bowl a few years back I can

say with confidence they don't belong in the SEC. I'll leave it at that*
