Freeze will lose to Mullen all four years. TSUN then hires another coach who take at least two years to half-way get things in order. At that point Mullen will have reeled nine straight off TSUN.

Of course if Freeze is a bust, who is going to want the job then? The money will be good, but the job will be a lethal hit to anyone's career.

I hope you’re right – I think Freeze could be a pretty good coach with the right mix of assistants and his ability (alleged) to recruit. One thing I find really interesting is that there has been very little momentum bump in favor of the bears. I expected a little more excitement from them, or at least new waves of delusion about he was their first pick, etc. It seems to be pretty low among the non Yancy-postles. You may be right about Freeze out in four years, but it’ll probably have more to do with their flat-lined athletic “administration” lacking the ability to help the coach build a program around culture change (but hopefully we’ll just beat them 4 more times as you said).
