We have 8 WRs on campus right now. Berry, Delmon, McRae, Wilder, "Secret Weapon" Clark, Charles Bailey, Bowser, and Terrance Davis. Seriously, do any of you bother to take 2 minutes to do a quick fact check of the roster before make such statements? We'll only have 6 or 7 available but spring, but that's certainly more than 4. Charles Bailey may be good, but he better gain some damn weight in a hurry. He's listed at 6'2" and 169. A decent safety will break him in half at that weight. Hell, a good gust of wind might knock him over. He better be fast if he's going to stay that tiny. I would also look for one of Wade Bonner or ToJo Patterson to move to WR in the spring. My guess would be Patterson, but it wouldn't surprise me if both of them moved.

Here, try a roster link. Looking at it aGAIN, he may not have been counting McRae and Wilder due to injury. That would have left Delmon, "Secret Weapon," Davis, and Bailey as the only 4 WRs on the roster when he got here December 1. Bowser would have been at DB and Berry hadn't signed and enrolled for the spring semester yet. But saying we only have 4 WRs on campus right now is an incorrect statement. At worst we've got 6 or 7 guys on campus to play WR this spring. And like I said, I look for at least one of Bonner or Patterson to move to WR, if not both.

"Bailey started out as a walk-on and earned himself a scholarship. He's obviously displayed a lot of determination," associate head coach Steve Dudley said. "It's easy to have determination for two days or a week, but it's hard to have determination for a long period of time. John has had determination for a long period of time."

Injuries have set in for the Bulldog speedsters. Bailey has been plagued by chronic hamstring injuries. He said his goal is to remain healthy during the season and to become an NCAA All-American. Wilder, a two-sport athlete in football and track, had surgery on his knee recently after suffering a season-ending hyperextension in football. He is progressing with his recovery.

When mullen arrived there were about 4 Wrs . We should be fine for spring.

The inside slot guys will be a hybrid type guy. RB/TE/WR type receiver. That's my guess.

The WRs that will play in the spring game are Wilder (assuing he is still around), Clark, Robinson and Berry. I think they are going to have to play for both teams. Im guessing on Wilder so it may just be 3 counting Berry.

Im guessing Cam Lawrence will get plenty of looks at WR in the spring as we try to find a spot for him.

1. McRae: out recovering from broken leg.
2. Clark: may be moved to CB.
3. Robinson: should be a star in this system.
4. Leon Berry: may be impact player as a Juco trf.
5. Major Sosebee: walkon
6. Andrew Ellard: walkon.
7. Blake Edwards: walkon.
8. Terrance Davis: RS QB/WR
9. Tay Bowser: moving back to WR.
10. Charles Bailey: son of Croom's NFL scout Pal.

Just guessing, but we may have the walkon's getting some PT. We may also have several new walkons.
