I have more faith in our system of govt than that. The Supreme Court had the opportunity to take a lot of the big-money influence out of politics but the GOP appointed justices all decided that it was ok to allow unlimited money to flow into politicians' coffers. The irony is that we hear all the GOP candidates talk about corruption and big money influence all the while they (except for trump) take it and also continue to revere the likes of Thomas, Scalia, and Alito. I think this is nothing more than him testing the waters beyond his professional wrestling and reality tv base who've carried him so far. He now knows to win the WH, he has to winover people who use multi-syllable words. We'll see how this goes.
