When u get to the sweet sixteen, any game could be your last, or even sooner with Cow at the helm. Just enjoy without letting it destroy you if we don’t play well. I’m liking our position and our chances as good as anybody’s. As a side note, know that we will be tough for years now.

Sorry, but I'm gonna agree with this thread, kinda. We've gotten kinda obsessed with looking ahead vs enjoying the moment, IMO. I get a lot of that is filing some air time, but the Cal era recruiting wars seems to have made some of us obsessed. There's over 1000 names out there, and I don't have the desire to dissect the games of 30 of dudes. I trust Pope will get the guys he needs. I'm all for people enjoying their time and having fun with it. I just hope people don't get all negative when Pope doesn't get their guy. Discus away, but trust Pope, and remember good teams have depth and glue guys too.

Here's the thing. This is maybe the biggest game in Tennessee's history. A chance to get to their 3rd elite eight ever with a win over Kentucky. While we don't want to lose to UT, this is just another sweet 16 game for an ELITE program in the Cats storied history with our eyes on a bigger prize then beating a wannabe program. Win or lose Tennessee will never be anything close to Kentucky no matter what they think in their delusional minds.
We don't play Duke every year...we do Tennessee... they are our evil enemy...so is Alabama...so is Auburn...so is Florida. Get this through your thick skull...the so called days of the Blueblood are over...it's not coming back...it's a new age. Nobody cares about that anymore.
