So here's my SEC Network question...

Do you see yourself watching the channel often?

Because, frankly, other than watching live State games, I can't imagine that I'll ever watch the channel. I don't care enough about any of the other SEC teams to watch news or opinion shows (plus I generally dislike talking head shows) and I doubt they'll cover State as much as they cover the big eight (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas A&M).

Maybe I'm wrong and it'll end up being the greatest thing since sliced bread but I'm skeptical about how much I'll ever watch.

At first, I will probably watch it more than ESPN. If the shows are done well then it may become the main sports station I watch.

I just hope they carry a lot of college baseball during the regular season. I hate that ESPN doesn't show much until the regionals.

Think it's 75 games on the actual channel this year.

Every single one of our home games will be on SECNetwork+(which may/may not be merged into watchESPN)...

Yes -- I'll find myself watching it a ton.

They're supposed to have a weekly show with SEC head coaches breaking down film and explaining what they see etc etc.
I think that's going to be great.

Im expecting a lot of suck for the normal shows. Tebow's analysis? No thanks. I'll watch games but I'll take the national sports enter over the SEC one

In that case, the spring/early summer will be on the network at almost all times.... When I have the control of course**

Have you seen any actual Tebow analysis yet? I thought he was much, much better than expected prior to the national championship last year. Gives a better understanding of what's actually transpiring IMO...

Unless the studio stuff is just terrible, I'll probably watch it every day during football season. I hope they show condensed game replays with the time between snaps/injuries/timeouts taken out. I'd definitely watch replays for games I miss on Saturday. I don't know about the other months.

Yes, I will

because I seem to watch every SEC football game (or some of it), That comes on. (Except when I'm in Starkvegas)
So the local channels are being cut out, and going to SEC NW.

But then, you have Basketball, and Baseball, and likely other live sports, that I've never really been able to get.

So as far as I'm concerned, I'm just moving to a different channel.
