So how do we reverse this trend and....

win this recruiting race? It's tradition some would say. Others would say it's about going back to the old missconception that we had when we wore uniforms that were black. People, that is no more intelligent than thinking we win because our uniforms are white. Girls think that way. No, we have to look at this talent search like a climber looks at a mountain. Then maybe, one February, we'll have that satisfying feeling about signing day as ole Ed Whymper had in 1901 when Christian Klucker guided him to the top of Mount Lefoy and got it named after him.

Glad you said that. I was beginning to wonder if I needed to brush up on my reading comprehension skills.

Perhaps he was just trying to use all the newly banned words and phrases, in a way that wouldn't get him banned?

What? Recruiting race? You mean the one in college football? The one in FCS? The one in the SEC?

Laughable at best

With the nonsense from both sides that has been allowed recently, this being a bannable offense is like turning a blind eye to the rest of the SEC for cheating and breaking the rules and *****-slapping Vanderbilt with the death penalty.

I have to start somewhere, don't I? Everybody, as far as I can tell, followed the new rule today. People just need to get it. Some people want to poke the bear. Not a good idea. This was a blantant poke in the eye, and I responded. Wasn't funny either.

I thought the intention was to curb accusations of racism and cheating, not about protecting the vision of bears. Whether or not you found it funny, it was pretty clever.

It is about that. And it seems to have worked today. But I felt like this needed to happen, and so it did. Let's move on, shall we?
