the show is going to end with him bleeding out, probably on the phone with Kim or something similar. And before you start talking about a movie, I think that's just a ploy.

This season has definitely been up and down. Started slow, got good for several hours, went back to slow, and is finishing strong it seems.

That's not a bad call JC with it ending with him talking to Kim... I can't see how Jack gets out of this. He is bleeding out majorly, plus he has violently murdered and pissed off more people than ever. There is no way this ends up well.
Now saying all that, It's Jack Bauer. He has literally come back from the dead.... It just doesn't feel right for him to be gone

I can't wait

I watched like the first 3 or 4 seasons. Could I watch this past season without watching all of the past??

but some of the subplots go back to Seasons 5-7, you might not get it.

However, one of the things that I read said that quite possibly the girl from the early seasons, Mandy (you know, the only 24 villan that hasn't been killed or captured) is involved here.

I'm saying he's going to assassinate one of the good guys (President Taylor, Mrs. Hassan, etc.) in order to out the Russians/stop the peace agreement/get revenge. I know thats way outta left field given his stance on "follow the President's orders" and "I love America" but he's off his rocker. Regardless, they are going to have to pull out all the stops to top the season finale in season 1 when Terri died. I still couldn't believe they ended the season like that.

And excellent thought about the movie being a ploy, jcdawgman18. Never crossed my mind.

I don't see it happening. If anything, this show is probably 2-3 seasons past its prime if not more, and Lost set out to finish everything up in 6 seasons.
