It was clear tonight that we don't have SEC talent on offense, or if we do they must be redshirting or freshmen/soph. This is what happens when you start recruiting MS talent that is underdeveloped in high school compared to other schools recruiting ready to play and contribute players. Our level of high school football in this state is so far behind other states. Hell, even our best program, South Panola, just lines up and physically whips their competition without having to do anything but run it up the gut.

The topplayers in MS arenot as ready to play on the college level as say Ala or LA.

compared to other states then obviously you've never paid attention to football outside of MS. And I didn't say it was the coaches fault. We're last in education for a reason and there is a direct correlation between that and athletics.

etc would be better than the top players in Mississippi; again as a group. Not saying you wouldn't have a few good ones here. I'm just not sure what the best recruiting strategy would need to be.
