So how many State fans were negative last night in the stadium?

Sat by one douche and no matter what State did, he was negative. He bitched all night long until I had finally had enough and told him to either be positive or just shut the 17 up. I understood it was frustrating watching Damian run the same plays over and over, but as I tried to explain to the guy, he IS A TRUE FRESHMAN 3rd String QB!!! I didn't really think he would know much of the play book especially with only truly having 2 weeks of 1st string reps. I think he did an outstanding job besides the INT. Hell, even when Dak came in, the guy said "oh like this will be any different" and I lost it. Obviously he has not watched MSU at all this year because as like last night, you can see the spark that Dak gave this team. Other than this, had a great time. Was just curious if anyone else had a problem like this.

The only thing frustrating about Williams playing was receivers not catching the damn ball. Dude puts it on the money they gotta come up with that ****. If anything, receivers should step up for a true freshman out there trying to make plays in a rivalry game.

I agree, and it even happened in the Alabama game. I looked at my brothers and told them that you can obviously see the chemistry they have with Dak. Good news is, Damian got some valuable reps these past 2 games and will get reps for bowl practice also. Damian will be just fine.

I'm familiar with that kind of State fan and they aren't rare by any stretch. They're sad little people

The only thing people were upset/angry about (including myself) was the poor decision by Tubby to fair catch a ball that was obviously going to go in the endzone then the three and out and blocked punt.

I was negative about special teams, like every other game this year!

The only thing I got frustrated with Williams was holding the ball in the gut of the RB too long on the read option. A couple of times he didn't let go till the defender was tackling the RB. He has to be quicker on his decision making on that play but other than that you couldn't ask anymore from a true freshman QB that was headed to USM. The only true bad play was the int but he will learn as he gets more reps and matures.

I don't think Mullen gets enough credit for getting these guys ready. I remember in the past if we got to our #2 QB the season was done and now we have our #3 QB keeping us in the game and making plays. pretty impressive.
