If we have only 25K show up for the spring game, which I think it will be more, that is $625,000 in ticket sales. Sugarland may get 150K of that ???? That leaves damn near a half million for MSU. Plus all the concessions. As Stricklin has said, this is a first of it's kind and I think it's worth a shot. You have a family friendly huge country band coming in that could be a good time for most, plus getting to watch our football team scrimmage. I'm sure you all have blown 25 bucks on something more worthless than this in your lives. Now what we do with that money is a different story. It should stay right where it was spent to help pay for the expansion.

I don't have a problem with it, but I will just not be going. Maybe on the bright side you get some teenagers on campus that normally wouldn't be there. I guess it could be seen as a recruiting tool for students. I'm guessing if the concert is after the game you'll have a lot of people skip the game & show up late for the concert.
I bet Sugarland gets closer to $200,000.whosyourdawgy said:If you don't want to come, shut up and stay home. You're missing the whole Sugarland is terrible part.clintstone said:It is a practice, most people pay attention to for 20 minutes, and they leave at half.
enjoy the show.
And if you drive 9 hours each way to a practice game with a family of 6, after hotels, food, and gas what is another $150? Not like you are spending it on contraception.
