to the Jackson State game. Any chance he comes? Also, if he comes, how loud will the boos be?

that 55,000+ fans would put aside any political differences they may have with him and greet him with the respect the President deserves. I'm afraid there would be a lot of boos though.

there might even be a "Go to hell Obama, go to hell" to which I will shake my head in embarrassment.

I do not support everything he's doing, but he deserves the respect. If there were a bunch of boos, it would just be redneck racist Mississippi all over the news. Hopefully our fans would realize that and take the high road.

he is still the damn president of the US. as much as many of us don't like that fact it still would be pretty damn impressive to have a sitting US president at a MSU game.

the only thing i have to ask is this: wouldn't this just turn into some sort of race thing considering we are playing JState? i don't think i could handle all of the feel good pieces that really don't mean squat. it is a football game. plain and simple.

Do you realize how much of a ***** it will be trying to carry tailgating **** into the junction but having to wait in a line to have it searched by the Secret Service? Now I may be overstating what would actually occur in terms of "checkpoints" and security, but I'd rather just go about my tailgating that day without any extra hassle, regardless of the publicity it would bring.

I very much disagree with him right now. But, one should be respectful of his position and voice said opposition in a respectful way. I always thought the booing of Bush was, well, bush league. I won't be falling all over myself to applaud his policies and such, but I also will not boo him.

I don't think there is any way in hell that he would come to the game but if he did it would ruin the gameday experience for sure. Security would be ridiculous...

I say 35k plus will boo. At the All Star game there were just as many boos as there was cheers. Personally I hope he don't come heck I don't even want him in this state and yes it's for political reasons. I don't like his policies and what he is doing to this country. If he is there and I am there, I will not boo or cheer. I just let them do their thing however I don't think his advisors will put him into a possible bad press situation. They want to leave the everyone loves me impression where ever he goes and that's not going to happen at Miss State.

the presence of the secret service dispersed throughout the stadium during the game either. I would just rather him not come than deal with that.

it's embarrass the state to a nationwide audience.

A similar thing would probably happen if they were to have Obama do the Are You Ready before an Ole Miss game. Morons would immediately start booing, never mind the fact that the leader of the free world and our President took time to make some stupid video to encourage our athletic team.

They might put on the news that Mississippi State people bood the first black president, but I sure as hell don't want them to put on the news that Mississippi State fans "supported" this liberal nutcase.

I don't care that it shows no respect and makes us look terrible. The guy is screwing up the country and I can't stand the mother focker. He deserves everything that comes down on him for being such a liberal bastard. You better hope he does not come because you know most of the students would boo without thinking about it and the news will report it. I can't stand him and this would give me a chance to finally voice my opinion with the media watching. Show the world that he is not the "rockstar" that everybody thinks is all around the country.

Flame away but I'm telling the guy what I think about the fact that the power is being taken out of the private sector and put into the hands of government. I'm telling him what I think about the fact that he is squeezing the hell out of small businesses and taxing the rich way more than needed. I'm telling him what I think about the fact that he wants to change the America we know today into some socialist European handout society.
