and they have Chris Johnson getting drafted. The 2 best players on the floor last night are not projected to get drafted this year.

And that is why many of us believe that NBA success/evaluation doesn't always mean you have better players at the college level.

if you look at a list of perennial top 10 teams, and look at a list of the players in the NBA listed by the college they attended, the similarities are hard to ignore.

There are always exceptions, but generally speaking, the best college teams put the most players into the NBA. North Carolina probably has 2-3 McD's AA's sitting on the bench. We've had 1 or 2 in our entire history.

that's why I said that its not always the case. But I think there are far more "exceptions" than people want to give credit for.

Its just stupidity to act like guys like Timmy Bowers, Lawrence Roberts, and Charles Rhodes weren't great college players just b/c they didn't cut it in the league.

And I don't think anyone has ever argued that Stans has had more talent than the UNC's or Kansas's. But he's had really nice talent over the years.
