For what it's worth, Hackenberg said on the most recent episode of the State Media podcast that he thinks it will be Brian Hartline and it could happen within the next two weeks. Hack was told he absolutely nailed the interview. Just another random opinion out there.
No one knows except a select few as you point out. Apparently Drinkwitz is the flavor of the day from some media sources as I have a friend texting me the merits of his resume. I would be surprised about Hartline being the leading candidate. I think Kraft wants a sitting HC unless his top choices all pass.

I did not listen to Hack, but I thought he was trying to be funny by meaning Hartline’s play calling against us on the field was him nailing the in person interview.

The only coach who has actually interviewed is Key. And today he basically took himself out of it. It's going to be Drinkwitz.
Well Drinkwitz has as many win's vs OSU as franklin and is batting 1.000 against OSU.

You think Elko is hung up on the logistics given his current run with A&M?
Honestly I think it's a huge decision that's very risky regardless of what he does. He's not going to rush. There's no need at this point. It's not like Florida and LSU have hired people.

I've changed my mind about Key. After doing more research, hell yeah I think Key is a good choice. I still don't care for his passing game but I think he is a superior overall football coach compared to Franklin. My bars are actually simple and basic: The next coach must be an upgrade over Franklin. Key fits that stipulation.
The next coach has to recognize that POWER football wins games ans a vicious physical O Line. The next coach has to understand situational football.

I believe with all my heart that we need to build an offensive identity that revolves around having a true Dual Threat QB. Given the current recruiting environment we can't go head to head with OSU for the same recruits, so we need to establish a niche.

It's my hope that the next coach takes our offense in this direction.
