anyone else notice they have a UK floor at Louisville's Freedom Hall? Never seen anything like that before... is this a UK "home game" or something?

Louisville has their own arena now. And if I'm not mistaken, Kentucky has sporadically played home games at Freedom Hall for years. Freedom Hall is like the Coliseum in Jackson.

I was just about to post "why is there a freedom hall symbol on Kentucky's home floor.

By the way, Hansbrough has 19 with 5:00 left in the first half. I am still upset we lost him. Could you imagine <span style="font-style: italic;">last years team with Hans on it?

Better?

If Hansbrough stays, he would have graduated after last year.

ETA: yes, he would have been quite useful last year as well.

but it kinda sounds like us going to Oxford to the pad to play a home game. Granted I know Freedom Hall is far more revered in the world of college basketball than the pad...

so it's "close to" but not on U of L's campus (the brand new YUM! center is even farther away, but that's another story). It would be like UT playing a home game in the Mid South Coliseum back when it was used. They've played "home" games against Indiana and teams like that there before.
