So, is anyone still as pissed today as they were yesterday?

I get about one or two trips back to Starkville each year for a game... this year, aTm is the only game I'm going to get to make.... and I honestly am outright pissed off at that ridiculous gameplan that they put together on both sides of the ball.

Normally, I can sleep off a loss. Hell, I won over a grand on the craps table Saturday night at Philly... which normally would make me forget anything like this. But for some reason, I can't shake this one.

I've been the biggest Dan Mullen fan (and Chris Wilson supporter) since they both got here... but this weekend has made me start questioning them.

Even though I predicted this it still hurts...

to have such high expectations sitting at 7-0 and then two weeks later feel like your team isn't worth a ****. Yes, I'm pissed at the coaching staff for not having the team prepared. I told the guy sitting next to me that it seemed like our entire team didn't give a **** to be on the field and this was in the 1st quarter. It's been a long time since I've seen us get totally dominated, and I hate that it happened when we have an all time high level of interest in our football program. Hell, we have jackasses selling tickets on SPS for a $100 a ticket. Dan better make some 17ing changes this week or he needs to shut the 17 up with all the BS smack talking and all of the trivial BS.

I've thought about this a lot. I'm really pissed that I spent money to fly to Jackson, rent a car and drive to Starkville, the whole nine yards.... but I won our expenses and them some back less than 12 hours later. It was a financially profitable trip for me. And I'm still irate.

I think being in Texas where I'm around so many Aggies is going to be difficult this week. Their Bama game can't come quick enough.

If you don`t think we are deservedly the brunt of a million jokes right about now you`re kidding yourself. I`m one that thinks you ought to let your game speak for itself. So yea I`m still pissed.

Yes. I can handle an *** whipping like my wife and I witnessed in Tuscaloosa. But I can't handle an inexcusably bad gameplan, a complete lack of effort from our players, and no emotion. As most of you other dads out there well know, it takes a pretty substantial effort to get your family to an 11AM game, and it's a slap in the face to sit down and watch that. We left at 21-0 because I had a full flask and nothing good was going to come from staying there.

At this point, I don't give a damn about early morning meetings, running laps, or apologies. Get out there and coach/play like you 17ing care this weekend.

Then, I got to come home Sunday and watch the 17ing Titans single-handedly cost me wins in both of my FF leagues this weekend due to a very similar performance. At least in their case, it was primarily their joke of an offense that caused the slaughter. Not much the D can do when your guys are turning the ball over every possession.

I'm pissed. No doubt. So pissed I was excited for the basketball results. We won that by 6 so there's gonna be no help there. It's one thing to lose. I expected a loss vs Bama and a win over aTm before the season started and they magically found a much faster quicker Cam Newton. I expected a loss before kickoff. We didn't just lose though. In both games we were already out of it after the 1st quarter. That's unacceptable. Dan makes way too much money and the University has invested to the tune of 100 million+ for him to be not even competing in back to back games is simply unacceptable. I think he's got 2 more blow out losses coming and then he'll find a way to beat OM again. Cause all he does is beat Ole Miss.

I'm still very angry. The game plan, "schemes", whatever, outright sucked. Period.

All I can think of is the Jim Mora rant from his last game coaching the Saints: "That was an absolute horse-**** performance. Total horse-****. I'm totally embarrassed and totally ashamed."

No. I've moved on from the loss by telling myself we have 1 more win at this point than I expected. I expect LSU to go vanilla on us this weekend and pound the crap out of us with the run leading to a closer score than the game really was. If we come out flat and with the same terrible game plans against AR and OM then I will be beyond pissed.

I really hate to say it but I think we saw our planned OM scheme last Saturday.

I'm back to being even more pessimistic than I usually am. I thought we had

turned a corner with Mullen and getting past playing like absolute crap, but that game on Saturday reminded me of the 03 team. That's scary to me. It looks like this team has mailed it in after the Bama game. You'd think they would realize that they are 7-2 and not 2-7. There is still a lot to play for such as a big bowl game and recruiting.

Yes, Very Pissed...

MSU needs to stop hyping these types of games up and lets just play smash mouth football! Our defensive coach is horrible and should be let go! The defense looked confused the whole game and we didn't adjust at all during halftime.
