Dish viewers as of now don't get FSS anymore though, unless Dish works out a new deal with Fox (which usually happens).

or maybe it's FSN. i can't keep them straight. presumably both are pulled from Dish though.

It's all over the place that Dish Network and Fox Sports are not getting along during their contract re-negotiation, and as of right now Dish Network isn't carrying any of the FSN feeds.

Or are you "hearing" that the company that the SEC has a lockdown contract with to show our games decided just to say "17 it, lets show competitive darts."

I swear if you would just go to google news or espn.com before posting inane drivel on here, the board would be exponentially better.

Our local FSS channel was broadcasting the game in non-HD, while the Fox Sports Southwest (was it?) was broadcasting the game in HD. Weird

DISH Network will continue to negotiate in good faith for a fair deal
with FOX to help restore the sports programming and prevent outrageous
rate increases in this challenging economic environment. ÂIn the
meantime, during the FOX lockout, DISH Network will make the following
channels available to all affected customers at no additional charge:
HD Net Movies, HD Theater, NBA TV, New England Sports Network, NFL
Network, NHL Network, Altitude Sports, Big Ten Network, Comcast
SportsNet California, Comcast SportsNet Chicago, Comcast SportsNet Bay
Area, Comcast Sports Network Mid-Atlantic, Comcast Sports New
England, ESPN Classic, <span style="font-weight: bold;">FOX Sports Northwest, FOX Sports Pittsburgh,
FOX Sports Rocky Mountain</span>, Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, Mid-Atlantic
Sports Network2, SportsNet New York, and SportsTime Ohio.

Notice the Fox sports channels they're giving away for free while Fox has locked them out of... all the Fox sports channels? Yeah it doesn't make sense to me either...

****. It froze up all the time and generally gave me fits. My Dish DVR is 500gb and runs smooth as glass + I get more HD channels. My only gripe is I no longer get CSS.

/I can see right now though that this FOX dispute is going to piss me off.

I have 2 new HD DVR's and get every channel for $109 per month. I had problems in the past with their DVR, but the new ones work great. For me CSS makes it worth my while to be with Comcast.

I wouldn't give them money if the service was $10 a month and came with a bar of gold. I use their internet service, which sucks, but work pays for that so I can't switch.
