Like many have said: If, throughout this season, the team had played anywhere close to how they played this weekend, we'd have SWEPT the West and enetered the SEC tourney withtwo, three losses at most and now we'd be discussing whether or not our 5th or 6th six seed is high enough and whether or not our region is the toughest or not.
No, you can't get up for every game... well, not like you can for UK, but there's no reason for playing flat at UArk, UAT, and in several other games. I know a lack of depth contributed greatly to our struggles (offensively, defensively, physically, and emotionally)this year, but you have to suck it up andplay with what you have. Regretswill haunt you for a long time.
If there's no leader (player) that has a sense of urgency and is vocal in every single game, a team will usually lose some games it ought to win and turn (some games that ought to be) blowouts into close wins.
I look forward to playing UNC in The Hump. Even if UNC is down, it would still be a big win for us. Heck, maybe such a game would allow us to convince UNC to schedule a home-and-home with us.
