I'm sure the parents/students/fans at JA are a pretty good demographic to advertise to, but I'd bet that the companies purchasing advertising are making quasi-donations. If the companies weren't advertising with the jumbotron, I bet a lot of that money would still find it's way to the school.

But maybe several hundred parents that have the jack to pay $11k per year can justify the advertising on its own.

I know of at least three MC baseball players that transferred to JA this summer.
I think Todd4State is the best source of info on this board I disagree with him on the JA to MC contention.For every player MC gets from JA, JA gets many more from MC.

Its all legal and if these suckers want to pony up $11k per kid, per year, have at it. I fund my kids 529s with that money.

I have been to all JA summer baseball games this past month, there were no MC transfers out there. Alexander came over 2 years ago. No others known. In my sons time playing there at JA at least 5 JA football players have transferred to MC.
