Speed limit was 18, in honor of the greatest QB in the history of mankind.

in seriousness, he got arrested for not having a valid license. Same as Quay in Starkville.

Did you miss where he had a suspended license? Because that's why he got arrested. When I read it I was going to joke that it was 18 mph and doubled the speed limit but they said it was 10. I'm guessing that's for Eli.

It says it all in the article.

"Summers was driving more than 48 miles an hour on Manning Way, a winding street that runs between the football indoor practice facility and the track. The posted speed limit is 10 miles an hour. Summers was arrested by University Police after the officer realized that Summers did not have a valid driver’s license."

I had a friend that got arrested once for doing 20mph on I-55. When the officer

approached his window he apologized and told the officer he had an emergency and was in a hurry. I think you
can figure this one out*. Did not end well.

Uncle Ruckus is spot on ...

His arrest is 'Eli's fault' ...

Ole Miss drivers will have to go slower because of Eli Manning

Drivers on the Ole Miss campus will have to take their foot off the gas pedals thanks to one Elisha Nelson Manning.

The two-time Super Bowl MVP was honored by his alma mater this last weekend when the speed limit on a road near the school's football stadium was changed to 10 mph, a nod to Manning's jersey number. Other parts of campus have an 18 mph speed limit in honor of Eli's dad, Archie.
