So Jim to head broadcaster and Wyatt to color as expected.

..is a solid hire for this job.

At least MSU didn't get carried away & conduct "a national search to replace Jack Cristil."

That would have backfired bigtime since Jack can not be replaced.

And I have high hopes for Bart, but the other night when he was on with Jim for the first time as color, I thought he was stiff, almost nervous acting. They definitely have to work on a better rhythm. Will take some time I imagine.

It's like that with most announcing crews when they are new to each other. Takes a little time but they will get better.

I think Jim will be better at play-by-play than he was at color (not that he wasn't good at color too) and I think Wyatt will be an improvement over Jim at color (again not that Jim was bad, just that Matt is better).

As for Xartox's joke, I think Richard Williams would do a very good job.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I can't say I was blown away by his commentating skills when I've heard him before. He knows the game, and he seems like an okay guy... but he was a little dull. Perhaps he's gotten a little more comfortable on-air.<div>
</div><div>I'm all for a former player (like Wyatt in football) being the color guy. Would Bart Hyche be any good? Not sure what he'd sound like. We need someone with personality. Maybe Power is our best bet, but I'm curious what our other options are.</div>

C'vester Crooms, some people deserve a shot at the job. Just wait and see how they develope. Jack may not have been too hot in his early years, but he certainly acquired his own style. Bless you, Jack. You are one of a kind.
