has supposedly turned the job down. Sources say Gruden and Nutt are next in line, and that UT will have a coach in place by Friday.

....for the University of Texas." He would be stupid to take the UT job, plus is probably contractually obligated to them so deep, that his buyout would be astronomical. Tennessee is probably headed for NCAA sanctions.

Mack Brown doesnt seem like he is going anywhere soon. I know Texas is an awesome job but how long would you want to wait and do you think he would be able to handle it?

since he's never been a head coach, it's still a risk to take to jump to another school, especially one you have little ties to. He can do what he does best, manage a college defense, and get paid out the *** for it along with having a pretty easy recruiting routine.

Muschamp has pinned himself in a hell of a corner. Taking the UTK job isn't stupid and if he is happy with his role at UTA then staying isn't stupid either, unless of course Mac Brown finds a new flavor of the week b/c I think he'll be the HC at UTA for a long time.

Gruden was contacted last night and that he turn down the Job. Muschamp may happy counting his money in Austin but he could also be happy counting a lot more of it in Knoxville.
