With hindsight being 20/20, you are correct. They could have gone with Suh at #1, then picked Clausen or Colt at #33. The problem with taking Bradford #1 is that if you don't have an offensive line, you can get your high-priced quarterback killed. Also, the lack of protection can delay his development, cause him to develop bad habits (such as getting gun-shy in the pocket), kill his confidence, and simply get him banged up.</p>
if we drafted Bradford first.... I've always had to remind myself that you can't draft12 players with one pick... because in the grand scheme of things... the Rams need about 12 players to be competitive... Suh/Bradford/Colt/Claussen.... it's doesn't matter. None of those guys are carrying us to wins next year....
