I think one of the guys at DT will have the chance to play, most likely Quay since he will be getting on campus early. Mullen seemed pretty convinced Redmond will work his way in, and I believe him. Looks like either safety or corner, and I think he is going to be a game changer for us. He might end up being the most important recruit in this class. I also think Richie makes his way into the LB rotation, and I'm really hoping Devon Bell wins a job somewhere. Would bea huge assetto the entire teamif ourfreshman kicker can kick the ball in the endzone consistently.

Quay Evans ...if he plays he is a stud we have 18 def linemen right now
Beniquez Brown or Richie ...should factor in to the top 6 lb
Will Redmond ...hope he redshirts we have plenty of quality defensive backs, a red shirt could make him even better.
Quadry ...don't see him playing unless Nickoe doesn't make it back

One of the Brown's at LB. I don't see where else we'd need to play anybody else if Nickoe is healthy. Depends on whether we burn redshirts for special team play, although I guess Redmond since Mullen seemed to think he'd see the field.

Quay will play, as will Richie Brown. Beniquez Brown and Nick James also could play. Redmond will definitely play due to Broomfield, Banks, Slay, and Watson all being seniors next year (gotta get Redmond ready to start in his 2nd year). Devon Bell probably plays. Certainly the JUCO's will play.

Said at the Starkville presser today the staff has been waiting on Bell to arrive on campus ever since they first saw him at a camp 2 1/2 years ago. Mullen said the ball "explodes" off his foot when punting or kicking. I was surprised at how long Mullen talked about him. It isn't everyday you hear a coach rave about signing a quality kicker/punter, but it shouldn't be surprising considering our kicking woes since Mullen has been here.

As far as other positions go, I will agree with Wyatt: the JUCOs should make the biggest impact. Our DL class is awfully impressive, but Holley and Siddoway are more important going into next year. Mullen seems more excited about James than any of the other DL. He called James a "freak" on at least three or four occasions. James weighed in at 6'4'' 361 lbs on his official visit and still had some muscle definition. He said James ran a sub-five forty at the Big Dawg Camp. James weighed 330 at the time.
