7-4 (assuming things stay as they are, and Brassell, Singleton and Morris go to Ole Miss as expected). Congratulations. See, I can give the rebels credit for something. To me, the DD is a great barometer of which team is more thought of at the time. Not because they are literally the best players, or that they are the only players, but it's a great show of what the star players are thinking. Also interesting that more are staying instate. Personally I'd rather that happen, and Ole Miss win the battle, than Alabama and Auburn take all the Mississippians.

Just for the record, the past years outcomes:
2009: 6-4 MSU
2008: 6-2 MSU
2007: 3-2 MSU (this class was full of non-qualifiers, can't really judge)
2006: 5-2 MSU
2005: 5-2 Ole Miss

Fall practice hasn't started. We haven't played a single game. A lot can and will happen before Signing Day. I'm not saying Ole Miss isn't going to keep some of those commits. Hell, they might keep all of them and more, but crowning recruiting titles in July is ridiculous. I'll bet you free chat for life that we lose a commitment or two, as will OM before signing day comes around.

Is it that tough to not reply to something you aren't interested in? I know see how the soccer fans feel.

And I'll take you up on a little friendly bet that neither Ole Miss nor MSU lose 2 Dandy Dozen commitments.

I have an interest in who we're recruiting and where recruits end up, but it's July. You seem to give more of a **** about recruiting than I do, so you should realize that between now and February a lot can and probably will change. What happens if we win 7 games and Ole Miss wins 4? Or what if that's reversed? You'll have a couple of local kids (maybe even Dandy Dozens) switch their commitments.

I don't mind recruiting threads (or any sports discussion), but here are already a few threads on the 1st page discussing recent recruiting news. Why start a new thread when you could have just as easily included the original post in one of those threads? It just seems like over-kill to me, that's all.

better by saying that Moncrief, Brassell, and Singleton are all the same type wr and we all know that nutt only throws to one wr anyway. I am shaking my head wondering why all three would sign at the same place in the same signing class. But, maybe I shouldn't. We have our big wr that we need on the outside with Morrow, so next classwe need to find Bumphis' replacement.
