Byrne said that they had almost gotten a confirmation on a large donor for I think the Basketball practice facility. So, where is this extra $10 mil planning on going? If we are still going to use just private donations for facilites, we will have 10 million a year just piling up with interest. Honestly with this kind of money we could almost pick whoever we wanted as coach and easily buy out croom. You cant seriously say that we wouldnt be in consideration for almost whoever we wanted if we threw our current 1.7 MM plus an extra 3 or 4 a year. We would still have 6 or 7 that we never had before, plus an incredible coaching staff. This espn/cbs money, if used correctly, could really bring up the bottom half of the SEC.
