I posted something similar to this when Channing Ward was getting close to announcing and was chastised for it. Their are some serious recruitnicks out there who get way too sensitive about paying for player jokes

who get on public message boards and either say or insinuate a player is bought and paid for not only BEFORE he signs somewhere else but EVEN BEFORE he commits somewhere else. If you don't think these recruits love to get on these message boards and read posts that are about them then you are just dense. You know good and well if you were in their shoes you would be doing the same thing. I don't know that we have ANY legitimate chance at Pollard at this point but there is no use in turning the kid off to MSU through negative message board posting if we do.
