That’s actually better news than I feared. Means MRI showed no major damage.

Why are yall paying attention to what a korn wannabe says? I’ve NEVER understood the draw to him and i don’t give a damn how many books he’s written.

I feel like if he was definitively out for the season we’d know it by now. He may still be out a while, but it feels up in the air at worst.

It feels like it would be a little surprising if we saw him before the Tennessee series at the earliest. This weekend feels too soon and then the UGA series starts on Thursday because of Easter.

The Tennessee series would be exactly three weeks since the injury, which would put him at the front end of the “3-6 weeks” timeline if that ends up being correct.

I honestly don’t think it’s a torn UCL. Forearm strain is what I’ve been feeling all along. We will see.

Agree. Doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t wind being the rest of the season. But right now they think he’ll pitch again this year.

Nothing official, but rumored to be a grade 2 forearm strain. Out 3-6 weeks.

Forearm strains are pretty related to UCLs. What does it mean for his future? Who knows, but we do know something isn't right. It's all related.

I would say best case scenario for him would be to rehab and try to pitch this year and get drafted. But he's a legit sophomore, so that's out.

Pretty much everybody that throws hard will get TJ at some point, the key is finding a way to ensure it is AFTER the draft. But nowadays that may not matter either. So he could pitch this year, get the surgery next year and still get drafted, especially if he's having the success he was previously.

I’m going to say he’s out for 2 months. He’ll show back up right before or at the SEC tournament, and be available for some relief work from there on. If they make regionals, and he worked himself back as a starter by then, that would be great- but even still I’d expect him to be in the bullpen for the rest of the season if he’s out that long.

Dohm injury and he really never came back during the season. He tried but we got very limited innings from him.
Yeah. I know what they're saying. But I'll believe he pitches effectively again before he needs surgery when I see it. Could happen. But could go the other way too.

I think it is good news for him that he will not need surgery but not so good for us in the SEC regular season as I believe he is done for the year as a weekend starter. I think best case scenario for him this season is to give us an inning or two out of the pen late in the year or in post-season.

Would love to be wrong.
