Has said 30 scholarships over 3 years, 2 year bowl ban, and four years probation for the Confederates. NCAA is going General Sherman on that ***. Should be announced in September.

If true (which I can't see how when nothing has been released much less answered) the NCAA must really hate women's basketball and track, just think if the football program did something wrong.........

It's more likely considering the timing and source that this is the REQUESTED punishment.

Nobody knows what Mississippi's penalties will be. Not even the NCAA. UM hasn't submitted their response yet (a pretty important part of the process), and the case won't even go to the infractions committee until this summer. This is just speculation.

Sterling Mallory Archer, if that is correct then it is worse than even my most negative outlook for Ole Miss. The 2 year Bowl Ban would be the "sexy" headline that all the newspapers would run. But the loss of 30 scholarships would be the absolute crusher---Ole Miss seems to get more joy from their recruiting than even winning Football games (Top 10 Class > beating Alabama).

Who cares what the real penalties are going to be? Keep making up whatever sounds good to kill them in recruiting. That's the overall goal for all of this anyway. Nobody without 2 *** cheeks sitting in a smoke filled room in Indy knows anything about anything.

They have done a good job at holding most of this back from public view but that can only last so long. For the record, I think they get bent over one leg and worn out by the NCAA.

Hi Eliterebs, you bunch of obsessed *** clowns! Tell Mike Slive we said hello.

TSUN doesn't even know what they will respond because the NOA has been with the lawyers the whole time. They are going to wait until the day before the deadline to prepare their response.**

That's gonna be so good for their football program, they might just win "another" national championship during their bowl ban!***

Making up what MIGHT happen to Ole Miss to "kill" their recruiting while the NCAA drags out an investigation isn't really working.

ESPN was running with the Ole Miss investigation and the Tunsil loaner car / suspension during the season this past year. There was plenty of speculation about what might happen to Ole Miss, rumors, and whispers---then in February they sign another Top 10 Recruiting Class equal to if not greater than the 2013 Class.

An announcement from the NCAA is needed---then and only then will it seem "real" to recruits.

But is it an educated guess?**

Sorry Patdog. Had to do it. Kidding of course.
