With DAK, DM will be able to open up a part of the O, not seen, since he arrived at Vegas.

He sounded rather convincing to me.

My wool flow-eth over.

The player I think we're missing from really opening up mullen's offense is the homerun hitter in the slot. I really like Lewis, but I hope Myles/graham can give us more explosiveness in the slot

No, we don't have a Percy Harvin

But Lewis is explosive, AND with DAK the pieces of the puzzle work much easier.

We have seen what happens when the right guy (for this O) is not in place.

OR Jeff Demps and Chris Rainey in the backfield
OR Riley Cooper and Louis Murphy out wide
OR Aaron Hernandez in the pen

How many TD passes did Harvin complete? I think Lewis has 4 to his credit???

None. He did have 1929 receiving (13 tds -- 70 yards the longest) and 1852 rushing (19 td's -- 80 yards the longest) in his 3 year career

That begs the question: Why have we not seen Mullen run the TE shovel pass up the middle like he did with Tebow and the future jailbird....or will he finally do that this year? Or has it been played/figured out?

Ross is 1b in the slot this year. People forget Ross. He's probably the highest profile WR to ever sign with MSU, and he might not have the 4.4 speed you're talking about... But he has the size and shoulders to compete with a safety or linebacker. That's our identity. Size. He has it.

I remember Ralph running the shovel quite a bit. I even recall TR doing it. But we don't have an All-Pro line and and an Aaron Hernendez (the player, not the person) TE to run it up the middle. Play to your strengths. TE and line isn't ours.

I'd like to see it this year, but I think it's played out. I'd rather see a Manziel offense than Tebow offense, although Dak probably has more of a Tebow physique than Manziel.

Who is the fastest player on our team this year?

Jamerson Love runs sub 4.4, so does Tavese Calhoun, Matt Wells has been mentioned as sub 4.4, Will Redmond runs about a 4.41, Brandon Holloway is about 4.4, and we have some newcomers who have also run 4.4 or better. Gerri Green ran the sprints at Weston. Brandon Bryant won the 100 and 200 State Championships. Jamoral Graham is close to 4.4 or better.

Ross is moving outside from what I understand. I think he will be more comfortable there.
