Thomas Jefferson, one of the most important figures in the history of founding our nation and the DNC is shunning the man. WTF is going on in this country?

Bubba has described himself as a Jeffersonian Democrat. Hillary will have to run away from that. Insane.

A "Jeffersonian Democrat"? An Anti-Federalist? Doesn't surprise me they would distance themselves from him, because they are the farthest thing from him. He created the Democratic Republican party, which was a party of small government Anti-Federalists, not what the modern Democratic party is today.

No, I read a story yesterday where many states have removed their names from official party dinners, changed their bylaws to remove reference etc. a couple of states have changed the educational aspect of what is taught about them from Jefferson being a brilliant man and founding father to being a cunning colonial elitist looking to break from England to strengthen his power and increase his wealth. Basically more of an attack on the American exceptionalism.

Oh, but back to the point, the reason why they're doing this? Because he was a slave owner. Applying today's morality to the world 240 yrs ago. Brilliant.
