to spread. Now a Mississippi State player won't play until the state changes its flag. It will spread like Covid. When everything in history becomes labeled as racist then nothing will be racist. Pull all scholarships and play with real student athletes. This **** is just another nail in the coffin for modern bloated college football.

People shouldn't speak about what they don't know...

Racism has held Mississippi back for a long time.
They are in the process of attempting to fix this to become the state they should be.

What led to the outbreak of the bloodiest conflict in the history of North America?

A common explanation is that the Civil War was fought over the moral issue of slavery.

In fact, it was the economics of slavery and political control of that system that was central to the conflict.

A key issue was states' rights.

The Southern states wanted to assert their authority over the federal government so they could abolish federal laws they didn't support, especially laws interfering with the South's right to keep slaves and take them wherever they wished.

Another factor was territorial expansion.

The South wished to take slavery into the western territories, while the North was committed to keeping them open to white labor alone.

Meanwhile, the newly formed Republican party, whose members were strongly opposed to the westward expansion of slavery into new states, was gaining prominence.

The election of a Republican, Abraham Lincoln, as President in 1860 sealed the deal. His victory, without a single Southern electoral vote, was a clear signal to the Southern states that they had lost all influence.

Feeling excluded from the political system, they turned to the only alternative they believed was left to them: secession, a political decision that led directly to war.

Ahh.......the "States' Rights" claim....love that one. If this is true, and they were fighting for "States Rights"........then why did they impose that slavery COULD NOT be abolished in the Confederacy? Basically, eliminating a "state's right" to abolish it?

“In all such territory the institution of negro slavery, as it now exists in the Confederate States, shall be recognized and protected by Congress and by the Territorial government; and the inhabitants of the several Confederate States and Territories shall have the right to take to such Territory any slaves lawfully held by them in any of the States or Territories of the Confederate States.”

Mountaineer...it was all those damn Democrats that wanted to keep...and expand...slavery. you kind of pointed that out. You meant too right? Kind of like all the progressive Democrats today. Just want to make all folks slaves of the federal government. Must be true....the more things change, the more they are the same.

Jason Vorsleeze posting at 3:27 a.m., and spewing the exact same t-shirt fan lie used by the fake Texas fan? Is any more proof needed that this fraud is TVZ/WVpride304, and 23 or so other profiles?

All eleven state legislatures of the Confederacy issued proclamations about whey they were seceding from the Union.

All eleven said it was because of slavery in their official secession documents.

Democrat Robert C. Byrd, an admitted KKK organizer, engaged in a 14-hour filibuster in an attempt to stop the passage of the Civil Rights Act, but when it suited him to do so politically, he apologized, so no harm, no foul, according to Hoppy Kercheval and other RINOS/Democrats.

Problem is we are speaking about today...

Can't go after BLM. Label them terrorist

Connect the looters and rioters with the protestors
Then expect anyone to pay attention to what you say.
More mindless propaganda.

Some of you better be getting paid for this. If not what a waste of time

The ice is getting thinner underneath your position doofus. As far as BLM movement goes...if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it is a duck. BLM has become an anti American terrorist organization. Third world justice by mob violence crap. It will stop one way or another when civil folks decide to push back against this garbage.

Problem is BLM is supported by 55% of this country
Not liked by 34%.
People aren't connecting the rioters and all the other stuff with them.
Even Mainstream Corporate America loves BLM

These statues are about the Neo Confederacy more than the actual Confederacy.

Created an era worst than slavery. Hate to tell you but slavery existed after the Civil War. Especially with prisons. In a lot of states. Old plantations became prisons

This anger and pain is what people are trying to stop.
No reason for that in this country

As i said before...go play with your other lawless friends in the "movement " and burn, loot, tear down, and riot. Then go home and ask your mommy to make you a peanut butter sandwich bought with a government handout. And stop being a leftwing idiot trying to say that things are same as 150 freaking years ago. We elected a black man as President...twice...for God's sake. This is becoming a revolution by under educated whiny brats...not a movement of good. You ought to find some third world ******** to live in and leave the country I fought for alone.

It is mindless...

You are connecting the two together

While most of the United States isn't.

So going after them isn't helping.

The approval of BLM has increased the past 6 weeks instead of decreased.
So this message isn't working and is creating a larger division than should exist.

Some of us reside in places where we have to get along with people who don't look like us.

Plus you add the fact that the religious community is in full support.

It is a morality issue here.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cs...or-Black-Lives-Matter-has-surged-in-one-chart

American public opinion has undergone a major shift this spring amid national focus on the death of George Floyd and racial justice protests, according to one polling group.

Consider that at the time of a 2017 Unite the Right rally by white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia, net public support for the Black Lives Matter movement was about negative 5%, meaning 5% more Americans disapproved of the movement than supported it.
In recent months that has dramatically changed, after the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and Mr. Floyd, whose funeral was held this week. Net support for Black Lives Matter recently reached 28% (with 53% approving of the movement and 25% disapproving), according to surveys by the polling group Civiqs.

A poll yesterday from Harvard Harris had it 55 approve to 24 disapprove

Who cares what anyone in the leftwing establishment says doofus? This isn't about getting along...done that all my life with everyone. Served with...and respected...everyone. This current crap is all about a group of malcontents...white and black...justifying their anti social criminal behavior by appropriating a just concern. Their is no justification for these morons to breathe the same air as the patriots who built this nation. As i said before...if it is so bad here go to some ******** third world country and enjoy yourself. If you identify with these clowns then that includes you faketexasdude. Do the country a favor and pack your starwars backpack and the trail. What a weenie.

Problem is most of the country isn't.

Problem with the player at WVU is the coach believed it to.
Connecting the protestors with the looters and rioters.

Who knows who the looters and rioters are. They really aren't the people protesting.

A lot of false flag **** going on.
Sad because it isn't needed.

Turn off the ********.
Actually talk to the people who are protesting.

You are believing what you are told.
Like I said I have no idea what is going on. Mainly I am just unimpressed with how Trump is using this to create division. Some in the media are doing the same and have all of you believing a narrative that may not exist.

They are trying to protect Jefferson Davis, Robert E Lee, and the rest by shifting the debate to Washington, Jefferson and Jackson

So from what I have seen the people going after statues are the very same people trying to protect their own.

More than that. Some people cannot separate legally removed statues and the ones that are being vandalized.

Flag has nothing to do with the Civil War.

Flag is a Neo Confederate symbol.
I am not sure what happened in Mississippi during Reconstruction. A lot of places they put blacks in charge. This pissed people off. So when Reconstruction ended...
It was game on. They used symbols to show who was in charge.

People shouldn't comment on this unless they understand
They love football and Hill is trying to use football to unite the state

But a lot of people in Mississippi are about changing the flag
The Gov just tried some ******** and supported two flags.

For all you true Americans out there, do yourself a favor, and stop arguing with liberal and forum stooge, TVZ.

You cannot argue with a liberal, because in their mind, they're always right, and won't even listen to another opinion. It's there way or the highway, and quite frankly, TVZ and his 25 alter ego profiles should be sent packing right down the highway.

You remember K-C, don't you?

Case closed.
