So the NBA is the first one back

[Seinfeld]

Formally approved to return with the previously proposed 22-team format, and I believe I briefly saw that the first game will be July 3rd. It’ll be different, but at least it’s sports

Still seeing July 31st as a start date.

[Seinfeld]

Yeah, I saw July 3rd in a push notification, but then once I found the actual stories, I had a hard time finding a date. Oh well, as long as there’s a date, I’m good.

This country needs sports in the most dire way right now

Basketball in July? No thanks.

Season to end 10/12. Not sure they will do well in the TV markets up against the NFL and CFB.

You got me excited

7/31 - 10/31.

Also, of note, looks like the Draft is scheduled for 10/15/20.

[My Bru]

I see them eventually complaining too. Just blow up all sports except soccer and baseball and let's roll. Fat guys who play on the lines, and big clumsy basketball centers are just out of luck.

NBA players aren't taking much of a pay cut cause they've already played most of the regular season.

[MSUDC11]

Not a big NBA fan and I'd be more likely to watch if it were starting back sooner, but it's better than nothing.
