So it’s likely that Culver and OT both move on after this season. Cottrill is very good but it would be good to look out another year. OT was a 5* recruit and it has taken him more than a season to learn how to play post.
Because there are guards with the same quality at this position as this guy at the big position just lying around? I agree that WVU's biggest need is at the guard position, but it's not like a supermarket where you can just go pick one up. Sometimes you gotta take the best available and you don't pass on a guy like this for guards that may turn out to be bench role players.
You lack knowledge of what really happens. There are only 2 seniors on the team next year. Only 1 senior guard, Taz Sherman. Both Big's likely to move on at the end of the season.

So, the first priority isn't a PG? Then why did Huggs go out hard after PG's at the end of the season? He lost out on the first 4 PG's that were game ready and could improve that spot. Then he said he was happy holding that schollie for next year. If he could have landed one of them he would. Now that there is a Big available he's looking at him........ after he strikes out on his main targets.

Sad that we didn't get a Big 12 Tournament this year.
WVU/Oklahoma was going to a very good game.
The games on the first day were very well played.
We will really see where this team is next year because a lot of the Big 12 is returning plus there is a lot of new talent coming in. Probably 4 of the Top 20/25 players in the country.
