So what do we have to do to host?**

Our RPI was 27 coming into today. I'm betting it will be in the 21-23 range now.<div>
</div><div>If we can get several quality wins in Hoover, we could definitely have an RPI in the top 16. I'm sure the SEC won't get 5 hosts, so we'll have to surpass Kentucky for the 4th bid and not let Arkansas take it from us</div>

...cause we need to go back and win about 3 of the games we lost. I don't think there's any way we sneak into hosting, but it's enough maybe to just be a high 2 in a low 1's regional.

Bragging rights in the State. Helps in recruiting. Good national exposure and wehave alot of historysetting attendance records when we do. But I am sure you were beingsarcastic in your post and you know this. I am kind of curious why I was inserted. Where did you see I did not think it matter?

I WAS being sarcastic. And to your question...we come off the biggest baseball weekend of the year with a sweep over the #5 team in the country and your first two posts include Cohen being a jackass at Alabama and your thoughts that Kentucky may be overrated. I therefore sarcastically concluded that hosting a regional would give you some pause as well. Here's the situation..whether you like it or not, John Cohen is our baseball coach. Whether you like it or not, Rick Stansbury is NOT our basketball coach. You and I root for the best interest of Mississippi State. I just feel like you need to be reminded that TODAY...was a good day.

See therehas beenso much back and forthabout Stans and Cohen this year that no one can post any question about anything and not be acused of it them self. Cohen did make a *** of him self at Alabama and he did not coach the first game at Florida because of that and maybe we might have won that game if he was there. I don't think that a bash, it's the truth, if anything it's a complinment. Straton lost one game this year and it was that Florida game. Straton has pitch his *** off every game and even the game he lost was a good outing and maybe if Cohen was there some different dicisions would have been made. As far as KY goes they have lost eight of their last 14 games and three of those wins are off of Alabama. It is a honest question. They have lost four in a roll including a lost to Murry State. They are a very good team and they got swept by us this weekend and I am proud as hell for it.
