So what do you think Mullen has learned

From this season? No just what he learned necessarily from state or sec games, but what did he learn about how the game is evolving and what do you expect to see next year (strategery)?

That auburn has made some kind of deal with the devil to get as lucky as they have this year. I hate auburn as much as I do OM.

That he can stay employed with an effort that would get most other SEC coaches fired.

... but I'll go with jack ****.

Does "learned" mean things Dan will change? Then nothing.

Interesting question...

Sadly I'm not convined that he's learning a lot. Not really sure if he's any better head coach now than he was his first year as a HC. I think he has learned a few lessons in the recruiting game, that's about it.

We'll find out next year and perhaps some in the off season

If he hires someone to coach special teams, that would be really encouraging. We have four four star commits right now for 2015- so I can't complain about recruiting too much.

I do think that Dan knows more about what he's dealing with on the recruiting trail. I think in 2011 he expected the on the field results alone to bring them in, but I think he knows better now.

No.

The transition from 12 to 13 says so

I would hope that mullen learned this at least
1. Special Teams matter in this league. A scholarship kicker should make more than 47% or whatever we ended up with. Punt and kick return decisions are a little out of his control ,but you have control of who is in the game.
2. Watch Auburns and oregons offensive film. Diagram every play. Learn their systems and implement it starting ttomorrow.should be an easy transition with our current players. Now I know each are a little different but come on. Using their basic scheme would be an improvement over our non-existant scheme. Probably would save our qb a little too.

I think the success he's seen at auby & Oreg

Has just reinforced the direction he was already headed in.....I think you'll see a lot more triple option next season with Dak. Didn't Mullen actually attend Oregon practices when Chip K. Was HC? I expect to hear about more up tempo practices with more focus on conditioning & hurry up O. Re-tooling our ST's goes w/o saying. They suck and we're all gonna end up at the Betty if doesn't get fixed by spring.

If anything I'd thought he'd learned from other teams the importance of having 8 home games.
