I am hearing that AU wont like it and it may be what they are looking for to get rid of The Chiz. Never heard State's name mentioned. It's supposed to be from either ESPN or Yahoo Sports or maybe both. IT was blowing up on Finebaum today but nobody seemed to know or want to spill anyhting. F-bomb seemed to intimate that it was serious although he was being cloak and dagger so he may not even know ****. But he wanted people to think he maybe might know something.

I don't know if this week could be easily be topped if Auburn is fried by the press for NCAA infractions right after finally taking an *** whipping from us.

This is not nearly enough payback for the Newton situation but it will be fantastical nonetheless.

So far, here is what I have heard/read....

That Phillip Marshall, who is usually a big AU homer, has told his sheep that what he is hearing is not good at tall for AU

And then the rumors that have all been tweeted:

Cam Newton story breaking tomm connecting AU/MSU and Cam
4 schools involved in Memphis, 3 should be concerned-MSU/AU/BAMA and Georgia is safe.
Auburn recruiting of Jovon Robinson

Two extremely important components to this/these story/stories ..........................................

First, Danny Sheridan has tweeted NOTHING about this/these story/stories. That means something might actually happen this time.

Second, the firing of Mirando was part of the agreed-upon penalties between us and the NCAA, so hopefully we're not going to get murdered over Redmond.

This is about the only thing I have seen mentioning Alabama.

http://www.commercialappeal.com/new...ssissippi-state-common-thread-ncaa-i/?print=1

St. George’s coach Brent Hill said he and Brandon Hill, an offensive lineman from the school’s 2011 state championship team, met with the NCAA some six months ago. Brent Hill would not discuss details of the interview, but said he felt the questioner was interested in Mississippi State and “a young man from Memphis” that he would not identify.

Brandon Hill did not qualify to play where he signed, the University of Alabama, and is believed to be enrolled this fall at Hargrave Military Academy, a prep school in Chatham, Va.
“We didn’t see anything dirty,” the coach, Brent Hill, said. “... I never witnessed anything, and neither did our kid.”

Also, Looks like the UGA/Memphis player has not yet meet with the NCAA......

http://onlineathens.com/sports/coll...et-meet-ncaa-richts-mother-asks-about-old-man

Georgia cornerback Sheldon Dawson said he has not yet met with the NCAA about a reported investigation of Mississippi State pertaining to players from Memphis. It was reported that he was to meet with the NCAA last Friday. Dawson said he received some recruiting interest from Mississippi State, but has never visited Starkville. “I don’t know anything wrong that went on there,” he said. “There’s a lot of stuff that you hear, but you never know until it’s out or it’s final.”

I sifted through the Rant (slow day) and here's the center piece of that discussion (I think there's a lot of BS in there, and sorry if Germans):

repost from 247 sports

"I start all this by saying this is repeated from several different sources who are all very close to the Memphis school system and have been talking about this story for months waiting for it to pop. Well it is about to happen.

My source says the NCAA has been digging since the Cam situation never giving up. The changed grade on Jovon Robinson gave them a source to start with. This source finally broke down and confessed that the volleyball coach at Wooddale HS was the one who had the grade changed. She also provided Jovon as well as other's rides down to unofficial visits to AU. She is a Auburn grad and many think she may be the delivery mechanism in the Cam and other money transfers. Also MSU is in trouble over the Will Redmond case where he was basically bought and paid for lock stock and barrel to come there. Rather than pay severe penalties MSU agreed to turn on Auburn and this may be more of a crucify Trooper situation than a crucify Auburn case.He is truly in their sights and they want him bad. They apparently caught him in some lies. One this about the Volleyball coach is she took Robinson down to a unofficial visit without notifying his mother. On the way home the car allegedly broke down and they had to pull off and spend the night at a motel. The next morning the mother put an APB out on her son. To say she was none to happy when he showed up with the volleyball coach. He spoke of this going all the way back to the Cam situation only this time with money trails and actual proof. As the Mod's at Auburn Rivals are saying, it looks really bad. Really bad. Their fans are trying to push it away as just another attempt to get them, but it may be the nail in the coffin. Due to their better than everyone one else attitude, I hope they put them away and take their little crystal ball. Again this guy was sworn to many more secrets which he termed unbelievable so as someone said this could get fun. I just hope it's not another one where Auburn walks away looking like the innocent university we all know they are not. Most of all I hope they get Trooper Taylor and he is never allowed to associate with college athletics again.

I take credit for no part of this story, but was just like most of you and looking for answers."

I am for a Cam Newton scandal. We were the ones blowing the whistle on this thing. We didn't pay any money. He left for Auburn at the last minute and his dad admitted to shopping him around. I'd like to roll those dice.

Well it would be fitting if we turned on them and get off with just a slap on the wrist. Here is my one issue with that story though: Why in the HELL would be pay for the recruitment of Redmond and pass on the payment for Cam? Talk about buyer's remorse.

Here's my problem with this piece - why would a women's volleyball coach from Memphis be the bagman for Cam Newton, who is from College Park, GA? That doesn't make any sense unless I'm missing something. What does make sense is the fact that Trooper Taylor is in their crosshairs. If they keep digging on him, I'm sure they'll find something, or at least I hope they find something. I'd love to see that towel waving moron take down that whole program.

Did Redmond play against Jackson State or Auburn? That would be a telling sign...

No, but either he or Jiles were more than likely going to RS anyway. He is still practicing with the team and has been on the sidelins for both games.

I agree with you. Trust me. We don't want the Cam Newton thing to be brought up again.

Well if we have any real dirt in our closet regarding Cam Newton and our athletic department was stupid enough to stir up the investigation to start with then we have to be the stupidest university on the planet and deserve whatever fallout we get. I've always assumed that the reason we didn't turn something in that happened in late November until mid-January was because we were insuring that our own people weren't acting irresponsibly in the recruiting of Newton before we turned investigators loose on the issue.
