So what should we have expected this year

6-6 given the dumpster fire left by Pelini. A few bad breaks/injuries and 4-8 or 5-7 are the end result.

We should be 7-1 at this point. No reason we shouldnt have won 9 games this year. And yes, even with the depth issues we have. All the Bo-leavers (HTO leading the charge), cant help themselves by dogging on Bo. They play the "let's blame Bo game", over and over again to deflect the fact that MR has a 54% winning percentage as a head coach and was a poor hire by the Ginger.

I expected 6-6. I hope I'm right. A good frIend who went to Indy with me in 2012 said 3-9. He could still be right. And we are both still.fans.

No way HTO leads that charge. That has to be red rover. Don't get me wrong, I like red rover...dude is really positive...just think he is off base when blaming bo. I don't think I have seen HTO blame bo for the losses, he just gets after people that are still loyal to Bo.

54% winning percentage at Beaver State. The 24 years prior, 20%.

I don't know if MR is going to work here, but you can't sit there and say that someone else would have done better up there. JMHO, Anderson will run the first chance he has at something else.

Whatever. Tim was happier at 1-2 with Riley than 3-0 with Bo. He must be ecstatic now.

Hating Bo and understanding he is bad for the program is different than blaming Bo for being 3-5 this year...although lack of depth and having a divided locker room doesn't help.
Divide it any way you want, if you want. Let your hate consume you. I thought the point was to win games. If Bo (or Frank or Bill or Mike) had a team with this awful talent Bo left behind yet with a winning record I'd be happier. It's pathetic that wins ultimately mean so little to you, and others, apparently. I'm just glad you're happy.

You maybe are confusing my comments. Bo needed to go because he was toxic to the program and basically a worthless recruiter. I am not a Riley/Banker fan and don't like the losses piling up...that doesn't change the fact that Bo needed to go.

I'm not confused. Bo needed to go, but I'd still have been happier for the team if N was 3-0 instead of 1-2. The point is to win games. If Bo had won more nobody woulda bitched about him being an ***. If Riley could win nobody would ***** about him being a dottering .500 coach either. The point is to win games.

Mel, nobody wants to see dear ol' NU win as much as I do. That being said, due to a variety of factors that have been discussed to death in regards to this season, I am willing to give Riley a pass this year. Hell, we have to anyway, we don't have a choice.

I agree with this. Its just hard to handle the ugly roller coaster ride.

Lol! What total horse-sh*t.

RiLLLLLLLLey has already lost more games this year than Bo did in any of his 7 years at NU. Bo wasn't great but he was 50 times better than the clown we have out there now.

Anybody that expected 8 wins after all the defensive departures and injuries is a fool. That projection did NOT take in to account over half of our projected starting defense being either gone or injured for most of the season. Its very clear what bshirt73's agenda is and it isn't pro-Husker. He's more interested in supporting Bo than the Huskers.
