Seven, eight, ten million even? When do they start sacrificing virgins in lieu of cash?

that Mack Brown made more than Saban. I would imagine it will be at least 6 million or whatever is more than the highest paid coach in the SEC.

If Dallas loses this weekend, Saban will leave Alabama. Yeap I said and if I am wrong oh well it's a message board. You guys have hammered on me before.

Nick has it pretty good in T-Town. Surely he can make it on the $5.5MM he will get next year. If he says he can't, they'll pony up with $6MM or whatever it takes to keep him where he is. He may have the perfect job for the next undetermined number of years.

I can't see why he would want to be involved in Dallas Football, what with Tuscaloosa's Dreamland ribs and all (sarcasm light just went off - now trying to silence BS-beeper).

Little Dooey's ribs rule - Meridian BBQ is nowhere.

It makes perfect sense. Saban bolts for Dallas and he drafts McElroy since he's "family" according to Jerry Jones. Jerry was really in Pasadena last night to see his new head coach.

/conspiracy theory

Jerruh is done with experimenting with control freaks (Parcells). Now I know Parcells didn't fumble a FG attempt in the playoffs, but still.

And Saban has had all of the NFL that he can stand.

He is 15 and 17 as a pro coach. That may not be the correct number but he is below 500. He seems to have a lot of pride and I think that record might turn his stomack a little. He has proven himsel in college but has not proven him self as a pro coach. If the ritht job come open he is gone.

He's always wanted a challenge and he failed with Miami. Dallas is a much better fit and Jones has the cash and wants what he had in the 90's.
