What does everyone think will be the fallout from this investigation? It seems every post has something different regarding what has transpired and what will be the penalties. I am almost to the point now of not caring about all the details of what happened. My main concern is what are going to be the repurcussions. Does anyone in the know think it will be more severe than Redmond being ineligible this season and maybe a couple of scholly hits? Also, how big of a distraction does everyone think this will be heading into the season? I still say Will should claim the Cam defense and say he knew nothing about it and it must have been his dad doing this behind his back. Worked just a couple years ago.

If Redmond recieved a car: We are screwed. Id say 2 year bowl ban, loss of 5 schollies a year for 4 years, probation for 4

If Redmond was offered and did not accept/no longer has car: probation for 4 years, loss of 2 schollies a year for 4.

If Redmond recieved nothing: Joe Schad is a idiot.

Steve Robertson has already confirmed that Redmond's mother bought him the 04-05 Mustang. So that's good news

I don't get the level of estrogen that is being shown throughout the fanbase right now either. I mean, Redmond is still on the team and eligible while MSU fans are freaking out, but Robinson at AU has been ruled ineligible and AU fans are not overly concerned.

The only signs pointing to some kind of doom and gloom are people paid to stirr up ****. Hell this may be, but what is laid out as fact so far shows that MSU fans are overreacting. I mean, if he was caught in a boosters vehicle, he wouldn't be eligible right now. Not while waiting for penalties... Now. And then the Goldie rule says we just have to send him on his way if he was.

Yea, why would anyone think he would be practicing if we've known since February that he received a car from a booster?

Robertson is a douchenozzle. Seriously - this is the Sixpack. The entire reason we started coming here was so we wouldn't have to listen to Steve and the Swan.

Just me though.

Not hardly. Who is to say she didn't pay for it with money from a bagman?

//Not that I think that, just felt it should be pointed out.

So why haven't one of you internet reporters posted a photo

of this mustang so we can compare it to CJ's truck. Does it really exist?

Come to Mississipi State where we'll give you...

an eight year old used car for signing with us! Are we that cheap?! Seriously, I'd be more worried about this if it was a brand new Mustang.

I look like I worked with the guys who made the sign for Dudy Noble. It's Mississippi.

MSU fans are the douchenozzles here. Everyone needs to grow a set and let the official facts come out. I bet we don't even get a in home recruiting visit taken from us.

Redmond's Car was purchased with money his dad...

left behind when he died. Seriously, like someone else said, if we were going to buy a car for a player why would it be an 8 year old mustang?.....

Redmond's mom has also said the NCAA has not contacted her for anything.

His former high school coach told the NCAA that his recruitment was fine and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

The douchebags in all this: Columbus Dispatch, Wardlaw, and Dick Cross' boner.

Also, I don't believe we will get anything other than maybe some sort of warning.....this involves too many players with too many schools in the SEC.

Who cares? That's all hearsay and no way to prove anything. How many recruits every year show up to campus in new cars? Answer: a damn lot.

This is all a big cloud of smoke and I hope Mullen sticks his foot up Matt Stevens *** next time he asks him a question.
